Our Process - For Candidates

The CBF-LeaderConnect system is a resume-matching service (provided to you at no charge) which will greatly enhance our efficiency and capability in assisting you in getting your resume into the hands of suitable search committees.

As you begin the registration process, you will be guided in the development of a detailed profile which will then be matched with comparable information entered by churches.

Developing the profile requires that we ask a number of questions that help in refining the matching process so that it is as accurate as possible. Click here to print out a PDF of the questions prior to entering your information if you wish to do so.

At any point, if you have questions about the process, you may contact the LeaderConnect staff (Craig Janney, 770-220-1635 or cjanney@cbf.net) for assistance.

Once your profile is complete, you will also attach your own personal, formatted resume which will go to churches along with the profile. You will also receive a call from the administrator of the LeaderConnect system.

It is your responsibility to keep your information up-to-date at all times. You will be able to log into your profile to edit it as you have need.

In the interest of protecting the confidentiality of the information you will provide in developing your profile, we can assure you that no church will be able to randomly view your information on the site. Once your information comes up as a “match” for churches in the system, with administrator approval, your resume will then be sent to those churches. Each time your resume is sent to a church, you will be notified as to where it was sent.
